Ramban, August 05 :
A man was killed and another injured in mysterious circumstances in Kohli area of Gool in Ramban district early morning today.

Army has told the police that they came under fire at 3:45 am today, following which they opened fire, resulting into death of one person and injuries to another.

However, Reports quoting locals said that they heard gunshots at 11 pm last night.

The deceased has been  identified as Muhammad Shafi Gujjar.
and the injured as Shakeel Ahmad. He id being treated in district hospital Ramban .

Both the persons, according to locals, were engaged in cattle trade.

SSP Ramban Mohan Lal stold Sachnews Jammu Kashmir that an FIR has been registered against 58 RR of the army at Dharamkund police station.

He said that  investigation in the matter is on.
